7 years work experience as a Business Development Manager, Senior CRM and SAP Consultant.

After having worked for seven years as a Senior Consultant and Business Development Manager in Colombia, the US, and Europe, I decided it was time for me to take my professional career to the next level. I wanted to make a full-time MBA in an international city. The IOMBA program of the University of Geneva was exactly what I was looking for: concentrated academic courses, holistic approach, excellent Faculty, strong emphasis in team work, and last but not least, a truly international class.

I am convinced that in today's competitive market, having a MBA Degree is a must. However, earning an IOMBA degree is more than that; it is the asset that will open many doors for me in the corporate world, as well as in the international organizations arena.

This year at IOMBA has been a fantastic experience. I have not only learned a lot about business, management, and social impact, but also about myself. The daily interaction that takes place during the learning process in a truly international class has opened up my mind to new ideas, and new ways to approach problems and find solutions.

Because of the program's focus on team work, there is always time for camaraderie and group interaction not only with your peers, but also with members of the many international organizations to which Geneva is home.

What I like the most about IOMBA is its holistic approach. The program not only prepares managers for success, but also develops conscious leaders and entrepreneurs who are willing to apply their specialized knowledge creating thus an impact in the world. IOMBA?s Faculty is comprised of the best human and academic talent around the world, another of the credentials that make me love this program. That combined with the high human qualities and academic capabilities of the very talented individuals that make the IOMBA Class, reassure me every day that I took the right decision when applying to IOMBA.

Thanks to the IOMBA program, my professional experience has been enriched with a new view on the issues that are shaping the world agenda and how companies, international organizations and civil society can interact together to drive change. My experience at IOMBA will be fundamental to my position as a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum. The World Economic Forum is an international organization committed to improving the state of the world by bringing leaders together to shape global, regional and industry agendas. At the Centre for Global Industries of the Forum, I will strive to develop partnerships between the technology sector, governments and experts that will help reduce the digital divide between rich and poor countries, and create an impact in developing regions of the world.
